How it works.

Only a relatively small proportion of gasoline used in an internal combustion engine is converted into propulsion. The greatest enemy for economy is friction, particularly with the piston assembly. It is in this area that fuel and lubrication interaction is at its greatest.
By reducing the effects of friction at the piston / cylinder interface instantaneously and in the crankcase over time, Marine 16 Gasoline Economiser saves on fuel consumption.

The proof.

On road or on water, testing is notoriously difficult to carry out due to changes in driving technique, road or water surface or conditions, vehicle and passenger weight, humidity etc. Even with these constraints Marine 16 Gasoline Economiser has shown 1 to 2% improvement in fuel consumption.
For a stabilised performance analysis, dynamometer testing is used and a sequence of engine speeds applied.
With a 2.0 ltr Ford Zetec ™ engine and a single tank of fuel an average saving of 3.2% was achieved.
With a Ford 4.6 ltr engine a single tank gave a 3.3% benefit and continuous use showed a massive 4.8% fuel saving.
