Hygiene Range

The Marine 16 Hygiene Range is largely built on the new technology of our sister company Silprotect Ltd. These products utilise a unique silver based biocide that gives long lasting protection against microbial growth. Our silver based products are not toxic, harmful or even irritating to skin yet they go on killing germs for up to 3 months or more.

This is a stark contrast to normal disinfectants that kill quickly and then just stop working.

To support these products we have the invaluable microfibre cloths and wipes. These are fantastic for the boat as they can be washed and re-used over 200 times. They can be used as dishcloths, polishing cloths, spill wipes, engine cleaners and can completely re-place use of the kitchen roll.

For scuff marks and stainless steel cookers we also have the magic sponges. Just moisten with water and it will remove almost any mark from any surface quickly and easily.

The ultimate test for these is cleaning up a greasy slightly burnt cooker top with just the microfibre wipes, a magic sponge and water!

Where odours are a problem we combine a chemical and microbiological deodoriser (Bio-Protection 500ml). Again the silver does the germ killing and a powerful deodoriser complex does the chemical smells. It even works against diesel smells. Spray it in bilges and anywhere that boaty smells occur. This product was recently tested on four Farr 65's owned by On Deck Training and travelling from Southampton to Antigua.

To protect against mould & mildew growth while away from the boat apply Mould, Mildew and Algae Protector 500ml to the areas likely to be affected.
